Keep: Taking into account all the feedback that I received from the students from 8th and 8th grade and the sharks, I found the most important “keep” advices the following; First of all the childhood reference and the change of meaning of the divorce using the divorce papers and through a physical action, the curatorial approach of the meeting room, the three references, aesthetic and conceptual they all are a must keep. I think they all meet my expectations of how my project should look like, aesthetically and conceptually, so I will have them into account in a very detailed way.

 

Modify: The “modify” advices that I found most useful and that I am going to use are the following: That the performance is a long performance that is video taped to show it afterwards in formal video. The rest of modify advices that I got I will explain why I will not take them into account; the use legitimate or official papers is already an aspect that was included in the presentation meaning that I was already going to use official papers so it is irrelevant. The change of curatorial decision is not appropriate due to the fact that it will affect the concept and the meaning of the space that is a very important role in the piece. The use of more archival materials I think will lead me to a very superficial performance and that is definitely what I don’t want. And finally the use of paper for the divorce papers I think is okay and It doesn’t affect in anything to do with the main idea of the piece.

 

Eliminate: I got very few eliminate advices but I will not take into account any of them. The first one I got was I “eliminated the process of the performance” and as it PERFORMANCE ART I don’t see how this advices is relevant or can help me in anything regarding my project. The second one I got was to not use Origami and destroy the papers instead, but I think that if I do this the performance will be a very poor performance with less meaning than how it Is planned now. Lastly I got a comment that said that eliminate the superficial and obvious concepts, and for this one I certainly think in my proposal I don’t have any superficial concept, I think my proposal is the whole exact opposite of superficial, but nevertheless I will take this as an advice to don’t fall into superficials and ruin the concept.
